Root Grounding Exercise
This a grounding exercise which works by envisioning roots coming from your feet into the earth. It’s great for bringing us back to ourselves when we’re anxious. It’s also excellent for our nervous systems.
This is done standing up. You can do it anywhere to help yourself, but it’s better in a quiet place.
This is a guided Body Scan with Trauma expert Staci Haines. This body scan includes some explanation so you can explore how to really build this kind of practice.
