Joyful little Peter was 3 years old. One morning, he woke up to an iridescent blue light. Just then in the center of the room, he saw the most beautiful Jellyfish, who floated in the air, as if she was swimming in water. Her name was Medusa. Medusa the Jellyfish exclaimed,
“Hello, Peter! I was sent to you by the Children’s Health Guides to teach you smooth and beautiful movements. Follow me and do everything I do. Together, we will learn to move your body smoothly up and down, while making gestures with our hands. Once you have mastered these movements, you can perform them with your parents in the pool or in a bath. And don’t forget that you can ask your parents to find jellyfish movies for you on the internet. Feel free to explore and learn about marine life and even what kind of seafood we eat. You can start by making a drawing of me. And eventually you will have drawings of all the Musical Health Gifts that you will learn here at the Joyful Childhood School. From these drawings you can put together a Great Book of Musical Health. Just then, the Jellyfish song sounded.

A floating living tree. The Jelly fish is free. The beauty of the sea.
On moving slender feet, so gracefully it glides, with shining crystal sides.
The Jellyfish is free. She’s floating with the sea. She’s dancing with the waves.
On moving slender feet, so gracefully it glides with shining crystal sides
As soon as the Jellyfish song ended, Medusa said,
“Peter, I have some very important news that Viola, the daughter of music, told me. After 10 weeks of training, we will gather all the 3-year-olds to get together and create a musical performance from every song that you’ve learned. This will be a real live Children’s Musical Theatre show but, in order to prepare for this performance and get into the Children’s Musical Theatre show, you’ll need to go through ten Magical Musical Transformations.
Today is your first musical transformation. It’s called ‘Musical Rhythm’.
Get your hands ready. We will tap the simple rhythm of my song’s melody. If you tap the rhythm correctly, you’ll hear the sound of Viola’s bell. Peter tapped the rhythm of the song and …. the vibrant sound of a bell rang out. Viola congratulated Peter on discovering the first magic of music – The Magic of Rhythm.
After Peter completed all the tasks from the Children’s Health Guides, Medusa the Jellyfish disappeared. Peter immediately called out to his parents,
“Mom! Dad! Medusa the Jellyfish was here in my room! She taught me how to move smoothly and beautifully! Let me show you what I can do!”
Peter’s parents, as citizens of Planet Harmony were accustomed to miracles, so they were not very surprised by this magical visitation and happily began to join Peter copying Medusa’s movements to the music.
When the week’s class ended, Peter drew a picture of Medusa and put the first drawing in his Book of Musical Health.
Looking ahead, week by week, Peter anxiously began to wait for his weekly animal friends to appear, with whom he always managed to make friends. After some time, his parents even put aside a separate room for his musical animal friends, calling it their new ‘family fitness centre.’
That evening, he created a plastic Medusa costume, which had a large hole for the head, and long tentacles that could be controlled by puppet strings. He tried it on, and the costume was so comfortable that Peter decided to use it to swim with in water. When he swam he used all the beautiful flowing movements that the Jellyfish Medusa had taught him.
